Práce na novém obchvatu Chomutova byly zahájeny

Chomutov
Výstavba nového úseku rychlostní silnice R7 od Droužkovic po Nové Spořice, která bude tvořit nový obchvat města Chomutov, byla dnes zahájena slavnostním výkopem. Celková délka komunikací bude činit 7,1 km, práce by měly být dokončeny v březnu 2013. Zhotovitelem stavby je konsorcium společností vedené společností Skanska. Investorem je Ředitelství silnic a dálnic ČR, stavba je financována z prostředků Státního fondu dopravní infrastruktury. Bylo požádáno o spolufinancování z Fondů evropské unie v rámci Operačního programu Doprava.
Stavba „R7 MÚK Droužkovice – MÚK Nové Spořice“, která bude tvořit jihozápadní obchvat Chomutova, navazuje na současně budovaný úsek silnice R7 MÚK Vysočany – MÚK Droužkovice a je součástí budoucí rychlostní silnice R7 mezi Prahou a Chomutovem. „Tato část rychlostní silnice ulehčí především obyvatelům Chomutova, odkud odvede značnou část tranzitní dopravy ve směru na Karlovy Vary a Německo. Pro ochranu obcí v okolí nového úseku se plánuje výstavba čtyř protihlukových stěn o celkové délce jednoho kilometru a dvou protihlukových valů u obce Spořice“ říká manažer projektu Roman Kühnel ze Skanska.
