Cyklisty mezi Hlukem a Dolním Němčí už nebudou ohrožovat auta

Díky nové cyklostezce v celkové délce přes 3,5 km budou moci nyní pohodlněji a bezpečněji cestovat obyvatelé Hluku a Dolního Němčí do práce a do školy, za sportem i zábavou. Nebudou již muset jezdit po místní silnici druhé třídy mezi obcemi, kde kvůli značnému provozu docházelo k vážným nehodám. Investorem cyklostezky byla obec Dolní Němčí a město Hluk. Na stavbu za 23 milionů Kč (vč. DPH) získaly obce dotaci Státního fondu dopravní infrastruktury ve výši 56,3%. Na výstavbě cyklostezky se podílely společnosti Skanska a Strabag.
„Cyklostezka bude mít velký přínos k rozšíření rekreačního a sportovního vyžití. Díky svému povrchu ji ocení cyklisté, ale i milovníci in-line bruslení. Bude však sloužit hlavně pro bezpečnější dopravu místních obyvatel do zaměstnání nebo do školy,“ řekl Petr Škoda, ředitel závodu Betonové a speciální technologie, Skanska a.s. „Díky přesunutí cyklistů na cyklostezku by mělo v tomto úseku dojít k výraznému zvýšení bezpečnosti silničního provozu. Věřím, že naši jak děti, tak dospělí ocenění stezku již v blížících se letních měsících, kdy ji budou hojně využívat při cestě na koupaliště v Hluku,“ vidí výhody cyklostezky František Hajdůch, starosta Dolního Němčí .
